Abstract:
Migration is a phenomenon which consists in moving of people from a territory area to another one, followed by changing the domicile or employing a form of activity within the arrived area. The external migration phenomenon has also
some social implications: positives for the emigrants from Romania (finding work, obtaining great revenues), however for the adverse social-economical activities in labor into the countries where it emigrates; negatives for Romanian country
(depopulation of some localities or areas, lost young specialists) and for destination countries too (export of infringement, begged practice, organized crime).
Such phenomena have generated obligatory repatriates and have compromised the Romania s image within the world.
Comentarii:
Tranzitia post-comunista a Romaniei la economia de piata a dus la un proces de dezindustrializare care s-a concretizat pentru multi cetateni romani in reducerea salariilor reale, scaderea nivelului de trai si cresterea ratei somajului. In acelasi timp, evolutia societatii romanesti in ultimii 15 ani, a fost marcata de mai multe fenomene si procese sociale, cum ar fi: saracirea populatiei in proportie de masa, scaderea dramatica a nivelului de trai, stratificarea accentuata a membrilor societatii, amplificarea somajului (circa 1 milion de persoane disponibilizate si ramase fara loc de munca), a coruptiei, a infractionalitatii, a emigratiei din Romania. Aceasta situatie alaturi de eliminarea in 2002 a vizelor de intrare in tarile UE, a contribuit la o raspandire a practicii muncii temporare in strainatate a cetatenilor romani, ca o strategie adaptativa. Migratia fortei de munca in strainatate este unul dintre cele mai importante fenomene pentru transformarile sociale ale Romaniei si pentru vietile cetatenilor sai.
