Abstract:

The Accession of Romania to the European Union raises at least one question: what changes will interfere in social services field, especially in child protection area. If until now, all the external grants have been relevant contributions to develop the system of child protection at a whole, for the future, continuing the reform process implies the accession of the Structural Funds, including the existent system of national financing. Training, with the view of identification and accession the Structural Funds, is essential and should be realized in due time, because we appreciate, that at the present, the skills, the Knowledge that the staff that will oversight and implement the Structural Funds have, are unsystematic, all of us needing specialized training programs. The present article aims at emphasizing the actual modality of financing the child protection system and the predictions for the forthcoming period, based on the official statements and on the practical expertise.
